“One way to get the most out of life is to look upon it as an adventure.

~ William Feather

My story

I have lived and worked all over the world and raised my kids internationally as an expatriate. You'll probably find me anywhere there's art, fashion, or delicious food to be had. I find nature absolutely thrilling and love being out in it — hiking, horseback riding, and taking in its majestic sites. On the flip side, I also love quiet moments at home with my dog, Tucker. Life is so multi-faceted, isn't it? To me it's a never ending journey with different twists and turns, lessons, and opportunities to grow and thrive.

Early in life as an adolescent, I fractured my spine in a horseback accident causing scoliosis. It was a painful time that ultimately led me to yoga, which I have been practicing since 1994. Yoga changed my life and through it, I started to truly understand the relationship between our body and our mind — an intimate and inextricable connection between what we think (emotionally, intellectually and spiritually) and how it is reflected in our physical bodies.

That journey — through injury, practice, study, and a lot of lived experience across several continents — shaped how I work now. I'm a coach and trainer for professional and personal development. And what I bring comes from everything I've learned: the clinical framework of Virginia Satir's growth model, the whole-person science of integrative health, the somatic intelligence of Kundalini yoga, and the energetic depth of shamanic healing and Reiki.

I didn't plan it this way. Each tradition arrived when I needed it. Now they work together — in every session, every workshop, every retreat.

Here's what I know for certain: people already have what they need. My work is helping them find it. And joy isn't something you earn once you've figured it all out. It's the ground you stand on while you do.

Right Now.

These days I'm coaching people one-on-one, leading workshops and training programs, and bringing this work to conferences and organizations. I'm still traveling any chance I get — and leading a retreat or two a year.

I'm based in Durham, NC. My clients are all over the world.
